No Left Turn here for pedestrian. It’s a counterclockwise rotund path.
After lunching in Beso one fine Sunday, I’m imagining my next visit here would be a Night with the ladies or Chill night with my favorite friends *I’m blocking possible dates off my mind as I type* =) It’s getting rare to stumble upon a restaurant serving comfort chill food (think kebabs and cured meats) with drinks (think wine & sangrias) at an affordable price given that it is located at up & coming hotspot, BHS Central. Apparently, it is from the creators of Opus, Draft, and Izakaya. Their table place mats doubles as their menu.

A more zoom-in look.

Their wine list are reasonable in price and they also sell sangrias in caraffe good for 3-4 glasses.

For starters, we got 20 grams each of the cured meats to go perfect with our chilled sangrias and red wine

also, an order of Manchego cheese surprisingly only for P290! Must order!

finally our orders arrived! Several skewers of chicken, beef, pork and lamb! THIS IS GOOD! Value for money, check! Moist & Juicy, check! Good enough portions, check!

paella (can be eliminated next time hehe)

tortillas (nothing to rave about)

I will go back for more of their cheese, kebabs, and wine/sangrias. I’ll probably give their tapas and other small plates a try too! =D
Price per head with wine is around P700-P1000. Beso Cucina Vinoteka. BHS Central. Bonifacio Global City.
a.k.a. | smart snackin’ #5 - Jamba Fix
After a surprising good lunch at Beso, The Family crossed over to the other side of BHS central braving the scorching heat on a cloudless Sunday to check out the rave behind Jamba Juice. Only one of the sibs had tried and so most have not so we executed the Best-Seller attack (haha!) which is buying the “best-sellers”, “high recommended”, “heard from friends”, and “read from blogs” drinks in medium or large cups good for sharing! =D As if not satisfied, we were enticed with their pastry cabinet and bought a couple of pretzels and one of their wraps as well. Please remember this was immediately after lunch!!!

Our 4 large cups were:
Strawberry Surf Rider - a classic smoothie loaded with strawberries, peaches, lemonade, and lime sherbet mixed in nonfat yogurt. This one is a bit high on the citrus side (“asim” factor”) but still refreshing!
Banana Berry - a classic smoothie loaded with bananas, blueberries, apple-strawberry juice, raspberry sherbet mixed in nonfat yogurt. I love this smoothie, it has the right combination of tart, sweet, and sour.
Peanut Butter Moo’d - a creamy smoothie loaded with chocolate base, soymilk, peanut butter, frozen yogurt, and bananas. Surprisingly, it is creamy (good job to the blender!) and tasty! You must have thought where’s the healthy there? I guess that is why there’s the soymilk and yogurt!
Five Fruit Frenzy - an all fruit smoothie loaded with blueberries, mangoes, strawberries, banana, peaches, mixed berry juice, and peach juice. This is the winning drink for me! I’m amazed how these fruits are blended with all their distinct taste and able to produce this yummy, refreshing, interesting thirst-quencher! DO try!

I’m afraid there’s no individual photo as everyone is scrambling to get a taste of each and giving their two cents.. hehehe! I also love the colors and swirl design of the cup, wonder what it represent? =)
The staffs were very friendly and knowledgeable of their products. They also do the greeting shout outs and name call outs a-la Starbucks which I hope they stop doing or change to something else to create their own trademark =)
If you know me, I read menus pretty thoroughly and one of their categories was Steel Cut Oatmeal which caught my interest since I’m on an oatmeal breakfast daily. However, being already stuffed as I was that time, I mustered enough strength to put that on my to-do-list. =p And the list got ticked off today! Wheeeee! YES, it’s a back-to-back blog entry hahaha!
I had my Barre3 work-out in the morning (which was craaaazy and amaaaazing). So.. because I have a secret hidden agenda *evil grin*, I consciously parked somewhere in between The Spa and BHS Central to avoid back and forth walkathons (i hate that). I kept on thinking about shake+oatmeal to inspire me throughout the class hahaha! So immediately after class, I excitedly walked over to BHS Central for my morning Jamba Fix!
After consulting with the friendly lady staff, I ordered the Fresh Banana Oatmeal.. and because there’s an ongoing summer promotion, I also got an Acai Blueberry drink in medium size but I only paid the small size (YES, FREE upsize just for this drink!)

Armed with my real secret agenda, Bible & Journal, my mind just zones out the noise, music, people.. and focus on my QT for the day ❤ I love mornings like this, more soon! =D

Price per drink around P135 - P170 with free booster. Jamba Juice. BHS Central. Fort Bonifacio. Taguig City.
Levels of Bokeh.
I Love Bokeh. I think it’s one of the best photo techniques out there!
It creates focus, contrast, sharpness, & texture to an otherwise flat photo. I love that it infuses drama & emotion to any photograph =D
Bokeeeeeh! I cringe at the thought that I used to call this Bokah! Someone *mean* told me its called a bokah technique grr.. wahahahaha!

such a shame (coz) it’s a waste! pretty food are not for eating =/
